Who knows the size of the flywheel bolts we use or a easy to find source you guys think i would be ok with going to the hardware store and picking some up or is there something special about them? TIA guys.

 

I would only use "flywheel" bolts, well, because it's connecting the flywheel to the crank. What if "ordinary" bolts failed? Did you lose yours? I'll bet I have some.

 

im sure ordinary grade 8 bolts would hold it

 

my engine builder lost them i put them back when i took them out. and he lost them ohwell the rest of the stuff is still really well done. so it isnt a horrible trade off lemme know if you have some yeah i think grade 8 bolts would work. but if i can find real ones i would rather use them.

 

Buy them from a Mazda parts dealer. As I remember the area under the head is different from standard. If you can't get them from somebody like Trussville, try here:
