Thinking about getting this, and mounting the detector where the license plate holder normally goes, on the nose.

exposed to the open air, on the top of the opening in the front bumper. I think this shouldn't be too noticeable, and provide the best performance.

Anyone have comments, suggestions?

valetine V1 all the way. I have tried one of these, a v1 and an escort top of the line one they sell and the V1 hit before any of the others. Second best was the escort but if you compare the price...and the performance, I wouldn't buy anything but the V1.

And keep in mind that even if the bel isn't super noticeable, it is still there and if you get pulled over, they will likely see something somewhere. Save the 400 bucks and get a V1. Just my 2 cents. Good luck!
