cut it and extend the part around the tb with a tube, to which you can also attach brackets to fasten it down to either the IM support brace spot or something else.

something like this.
there's one just like I described too but I can't find it atm https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=1439765824 there are multiple others that you'll need to find on your own too, just browse through build threads |
hacking not mandatory, but to get exactly what you want you will likely have to cut it.

Dat internet, tho.
Sorta-easy Coolant Reroute ? part 2 ? revlimiter.net Part three is helpful, too. Alternatively, just remove the charcoal canister. You like pictures. I post one. This is with the hose you didn't like, no splicing. Works nice. https://www.miataturbo.net/attachmen...ine=143981062820150719_210522 by concealer404, on Flickr |

Can anyone share some advice on the best way to route the hose? Also what are people using to help keep the hose secure and not flopping around?

Cushioned Loop Clamp, listed under Pipe Routing Clamps: http://www.mcmaster.com/#loop-clamps/=yksyto
http://images2.mcmaster.com/mvA/cont...ver=1418893066 You probably want this one, because SS and neoprene: McMaster-Carr Find a way to mount it to the engine rather than to the chassis, plenty of places to do this on the intake manifold. |
