beltline moulding help
JUst finished installing new Rspeed beltline moulding in on my 95 NA. For the life of me, I can't seem to get it to install completely flush with the top of the door. Some people mention that they have had to bend the moulding a little. I'm not sure if perhaps the clips are not seating completely leaving a tiny gap or maybe I did bend the moulding a little by installing/removing a few times trying to make it flush. It only has a little gap by the door handle area and not by the vent window.
You've probably already seen this but if not it may be of some help.
The only thing I can think is that either the clips aren't lined up properly or that you're not pushing them down into place far enough.

Thanks for the link, I did pretty much read everything I could find on the install. I have it 95% flush right now. Took some advice from someone to remove all the clips and try test fitting first. I ended up having to bend it a few dozen times to get it where I wanted it. I think initially when I first installed it, I removed it shortly after to make some adjustments - this probably caused some bends from me pulling up on it. After multiple removals I must have bent it pretty bad out of alignment.
Hope this helps anyone in the future if they run into a similar situation.

Yup. Just did mine on the '94. Take your time and confirm that the clips are oriented just right to latch into place before you push down on the moulding those final few moments... Otherwise you sorta have to start over! Found that out on my first one.
