I was not able to get the EGR piping to fit after using the BEGi reroute. This could easily be my failure but I haven't recieved clear instructions or pictures showing the back side of the head installed with EGR on a 99.

What about the Gearheads' QMAX coolant reroute package that Emilio is selling? Heater takeoff and CLT sensors remain in stock location relative to thermostat.

Getting back on-topic- Ben, were the ARP bolts recoverable after the ingestion? I'd hate to think they're still in there.

I like the GearHead's solution, it's just expensive. The BEGi items cost less, even if I have to put some work into it. I've got to allocate money as wisely as possible to be able to afford this build.
Would you want to follow around a 110lb rottweiler to look for the bolts in the aftermath? I'm just lucky she only tore open the bag for the main studs and I've still got those.

Honestly, if I were complaining about a $299 coolant reroute system being expensive, then yes, I'd probably be following the 110lb rottweiler around waiting for it to produce $120 worth of head studs.

well it makes perfect sense unless you've got several thousand dollars in micrometers and whatnot.
