best clutch.
i know alot of peoplewill say either act or that fm stage 2. but what would you guys is the best bang for your buck. im planing on resurfacing my fly wheel and running some arp flywheel bolts if possible. need your insight on clutchs such as XTD stage 3 which goes for 150 on ebay and something like an exedy etc. wahat would you guys recommend need something that will hold some power and last a while my goals for my set up are goignto be 230-250 rwhp.

FM's new clutches would seem to be the shiznit, but I'd like to hear some guys who are running big power through them after 5-10k miles and see what they say. FM will probably tell you for 250whp, the Stg1 is acceptable. Stay away from puck'd clutches.

"best clutch" is not a term that goes along with the XTD available on ebay. That's not to say I don't like it - in fact, I love my XTD after putting it in last week, but let's be realistic, its torque handling comes from the 6-puck design and the ultra-grippy ceramic compound which translates into a very immediate/sudden clutch engagement - it's not a fun clutch for reversing uphill into a parking spot or stop and go traffic, but if you are like me and want affordability and are willing to sacrifice 'streetability' even though it is street driven, it works. It grips like crazy, and that was my #1 need.
