Default Best price on roll bar padding?

Anyone purchased roll bar padding recently? I was looking at black 3/4" padding from Summit and the SFI rated stuff is $26 per 3' stick. I'd prefer not to spend over $50 just to pad the bar. There's some roll bar padding for $14 per 3' stick, but it's not SFI rated.

Should I be looking somewhere else, or at a different product?

These skins over the foam stuff helps it last longer while making it look better.

I've got the SFI molded for my bars, along with the cover for them, so I'm no help. This also reminds me I never trimmed off the excess sticking out from under the covers.

$18 per stick, but I have personally tested this stuff with my head. 70 mph into the bar and I lived.

$11 per stick. Not SFI certified, but probably quite safe.

Your head is worth the extra few bucks.

Thanks! Like your site, by the way, I spend quite a while reading about Sharka when I first got my Miata.

Just know that if you have the SFI rated padding, it won't bend easily and may/will crack on you if it's too tight of a bend. At least it did on my door bars...

LongAcre Racing HD mini - $11.95

This is what I use. Helps for clearance on my softtop and hardtop. It's held up well for the last 2 years.
