Black head/tail/fog lights?
Hey guys. I just got my 99 white Miata yesterday and I love it to pieces. I think it would look super good with black lights all around. I've looked around on the internet and found some taillights that are DOT approved (here they are 99-05 Mazda Miata / MX5 Altezza Performance LED Tail Lights - Black please tell me thoughts or experiences or really anything to do with them) but I can't seem to find any headlights that are also DOT approved. On the same site they have some for 01-05 cars but I can't seem to find any for my year model. I haven't checked ebay but I would really rather not get cheap ebay stuff call me crazy. Does any of you guys know of anyone with black or smoked head/tails on this site or anywhere for that matter? Thanks!
P.S. I would like to not paint my OEM lights so if I ever did run into any trouble with police I could switch them out.

This is just one man's opinion, but these taillights are shockingly ugly.

Not that it really matters in the grand scheme of things... Some people find Nicki Kardashian to be attractive, so to each their own.

Disclaimer: I do not condone funny-looking taillights.
That said, if you're dead-set on ricing out your car, install some brighter-than-average LED lamps into the stock taillight housings, and then spray this **** on them: VHT Nite-Shades?

I tried that crap on my fog lights in the subaru ( because they're glass and super easy to remove/clean up, and because I never use them anyway )
100% guarranteed to emit almost no light at all afterwards. Even with bright bulbs
So if your goal is to get right of lights and possibly get killed, this will work perfect.

I like the way smoked or ambered (?) turn signals look on certain cars. Adds a different look without being ricey. In reality I'm too lazy to bother doing something like this to my own car.
Looks good, subtle:

Looks good, but I can't imagine how much light gets through that tint:

Only pic of yellow or amber tint turn signals I can find. I want to see what a warmer amber tint would look like on a black car. This is too sickly yellow.

I somehow missed the picture of them actually on , but now that I've seen them I agree. Not very good looking at all. Now what about this car?
am I the only one that thinks this looks really good?
