The Daily What Tires for This Rim Thread...
I just bought 15x8 +0 Sportmaxes like everyone else. I am wondering what tires are inexpensive and good that will fit on the car with minimal rolling/pulling. It'd be miraculous if someone knew of a size that would get me by without rolling/pulling, but I doubt that will happen. I am about to purchase KYB AGX struts and just bought TEIN S.TECH springs which will lower my car 1.3". With this config I doubt I'll escape without rolling the fenders but I would like to find an inexpensive tire. I was looking at the Hankook Ventus HRII H405's in a 195/50.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks. My apologies for the redundant thread.

I got the Hankook Ventus HRII's in a 195/50 15. Just to make sure that there's as little tire as possible for now. Once I see them on I might go wider, but who knows. I can always sell the rubber on ebay for what I paid for it. I will probably just keep them until they die and go wider next time. I dont really drive in the city or anywhere at all for that matter. I think my rims will be safe for the 6 months they'll be on there.

I honestly can't figure out why this question has to be asked so many times. If there is one question on CR.net that you can find without even having to search it's what tires will fit on those wheels.
The same points are in almost every thread.
-Sportmax
-Lowering
-I dont want to roll or pull
-195 tires only
-the guy claiming he has 205's with only minor rubbing
Now is the part where you tell us drifters in Japan stretch tires for better turn in or something and how the tires are cheaper. I would normally skip this kind of post and just move along...but honestly, it has been beaten to death. There are no surprises left, every setup with them has been done.

Great. Sell them and get a real ******* wheel. You aren't fitting those on your car PERIOD without a lot of camber and a serious roll. Get a proper +35 or +40 wheel, put some big 225/45s on it, and stop ******* around with ricer d0r1ft0 wheels.
