Also called corrugated plastic.

Thats what my V-mount was ducted with. Look for sign shops to buy it in the US. Stealing the election signs could get you in trouble...

Just wait for the day after the election then! I always look for election signs on public property where they shouldn't be in the first place.

In a similar fashion, we put a floorboard in my friend's vega using a realtor's sheet metal sign.

A local guy used coroplast to make a cool air box for the intake on his '99. It has held up fine for over a year, though his car is naturally aspirated and still has the heat shield on the stock header. I don't think it would hold up anywhere near a hot turbine.

I acquired a few signs that I'll hack up for ducting the IC and rad, not sure what else though. It's not stiff enough for aero parts and I'm pretty sure it would melt on the hotside of a turbo car.

Nice, I did the same for my 76 Chevette. Only it was a "found" construction sign.

I've used that, plastic, and I'll take alumalite.

BTW, the hardware store sells cool little furniture hardware thingies in the bolt section. Bolts thread into them and as you tighten them, barbed feet puncture the material and hold it in place. I used them all over my heat exchangers and they're great.
