I took apart the intake on my 99 and was wondering if I can reuse the 3 metal gaskets:
- engine to manifold
- between 2 halfs of manifold
- manifold to throttle body

Knowing Mazda, they're probably cost an arm and a leg ;)

the last two I've reused about a million times.

No idea on the engine to manifold gasket though.

I hope they can. I've had mine off and back on half a dozen times.

I've also bent the shit out of mine several times and they still seal fine. They probably work because I'm the shit though.

i do occasionally shmear some anti-seize on them just for fun. then I regret it next time I take them off and get that shit all over.

I just know, when I swapped my head after porting it, the the IM gasket was warped and the bead flattened after removal. Once I refit it, the coolant leaked right out of it. No amount of torquing the bolts/nuts would cure it.

I just bought all new gaskets. I don't want to chance any more shit leaking.

Same here, Im just careful with them and always inspect them before I reinstall but haven't had any problems so far.
