I found it sitting loosely as i did my oil change today. Looks important

Almost looks like for the stock manifold? No clue...

How bad ? Don't know. But it mounts to the front of the starter and then to the block. Take a look and see if there is one already there. I suspect it is to prevent front twist and to ensure alignment between the flywheel and starter teeth. Have you had any issues starting ?

Never had a single problem with it. By any chance does anyone know what the bolt sizes are? before i jack the car up again it would be nice to have all the necessary parts.

Does it not go onto one of the motormount bolts on the side of the block? iirc

i believe i run one of my miatas without the starter support bracket. no problems as of yet

Never put mine on either, along with the intake manifold support. That piece of **** missing makes oil changes a snap!

u know how hard it is to install the stock greddy oil return witht that pace of shet in the way...... go ahead,,, ask me....
