Default Clutch for 10 PSI

I AM ordering stuff this week to get it up to 10psi!
Just wondering if this clutch is any good.

1) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/XTD-S...QQcmdZViewItem
2) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/F1-RA...QQcmdZViewItem

I know its cheep but I figured this "stage 3" must be like and spec stage 2? Is it any good? Its dirt cheap... What would you pick? Do i need to man up and find a spec or act? What would you pick for 10 psi? I am looking at cheaper stuff so i can get bipes too. Anything helps. Thanks

its not that it will be hard to push down, its that it will be really "grabby" like not wanting to slip much, just wanting to grab

I know someone who had the second clutch in your link. Horrible chatter and very on/off engagement. I wouldn't touch it, it would be an absolute nightmare in stop and go traffic. Something else to keep in mind, the more severe the action of the clutch, the more stress it puts on the rest of the driveline, especially the diff.

I personally do not like puck clutches.

If you live your life a 1/4 mile at a time it would be. But for those of us that have to daily drive our cars it would suck.

A puck clutch would be a mistake for a daily driven car. It'll engage too abruptly and make stop-go driving painful. Spend the extra money for the ACT now and save yourself the trouble of having to do the clutch twice. The least expensive ACT will be fine for 200 hp.

Please give us an update once you install it. My experience with puck type clutches was not in a miata.

Two things going for that disk are that the friction material is copper/ceramic and that it has springs. I've got the exact same combo in my Miata now with a stiff PP spring and it's fairly easy to drive. It's nowhere near as grabby as a non-sprung disk with kevlar.
