Clutch cross compatibility

Hey guys I'm wondering if an fc rx7 clutch would work in a Miata? There are so many more options at better prices, ecspecially used items.....

An easy way to tell would be to look at the dimensions and the splined shaft size. Why don't you do that and report back to us your findings?

Did you ever see any one in a miata run an rx7 clutch?

if they fit, why would every one run more expensive miata specific clutches?
