Has anyone installed their intake like this ?

 

yum. hot air from the rad heatsoaking the intake pipe, defeating the purpose FTW!

 

plus the filter is still behind the radiator. better off putting it behind the driver side headlight and boxing it in to separate from the rest of the engine bay. or route it up to the inside the bumper like TurboTim

 

I saw a setup on the cold side that ran the intake either over the valve cover or in that groove between the firewall/VC on CR once. It came back up and had the filter in the same damn spot right beside the TB, I'll try to find the pic.

I CANT FIND IT!!! It's killing me too, make a thread asking about it over there and i'm sure someone with less of a life than me (saying a lot if it's less than me, lol) will dig it up in not time.
