cold stat great, hot start bad
It was 40 degrees this morning and my car starts fantastic after 2-3 turns of engine. If i stop the car and then crank it after it is warmed up I have to slightly blip the throttle to get it to start. Is this warmup enrichment that needs adjusting? My idle is also very high until it warms up. Any input on lowering warmup idle?
This is with an MS diypnp
Thanks

Sounds like it's too rich on startup when you are warm. I can't specifically tell you, but on my AEM EMS there is a table for engine cranking / coolant temp. It allows you to reduce the amount of fuel it adds dependent on how hot the coolant is. You use more fuel when it's cold, less when it's hot.

Thanks guys. Adjusted settings this morning and all is well.
Does the warmup enrichment and the ASE work at the same time? In other words at a iven temp if one is set to add 1% and the other is set to add 1%. IS it delivering 2% more fuel? OR does one take priority?
Or is my understanding of what they are doing messed up? If so, please educate me.
