Default Coolant Pipe Question

No it's not about a reroute. It's a 1997 motor, and I am needing some extra space for my downpipe. The coolant pipe that runs along the exhaust and feeds into the heater core, is it just suctioned in place with an O-ring? I want to remove it and possibly shorten / bend it. On a MR2 motor I was working on a similar pipe just pulled out, but I want to verify first on how to remove this thing

Thanks!

Same thing, it just pulls out. But you have to remove the bolt/nut at the back of the exhaust manifold that holds the pipe in place.

Thanks folks! I did a general search for coolant and went back to 2008 without finding anything. Felt sort of like a douche for posting it up, but hey, it was answered fast
