Having an issue with the cooling fan. It won't come on unless the pressure is put on the plug. Mazda told me today that there is a pigtail coming off the fan and despite my best efforts to convince the parts guy that he's talking about the AC fan and not the main cooling fan, he only said I have to buy the entire harness. Is this the case for one pigtail? Is it possible to rewire it?

 

Prior to me getting my '99, someone cut out the plug by hard wired the cooling fan. To remove the radiator, I end up laying the fan on the fender. Had it been me, I would have replaced the plug. I still may.
