i had innovative motor mounts in my s2000 it was interesting to say the least.

While we're on the subject of mounts, I was thinking about getting these: Jahns Fabworks 90 05 Mazda Miata MX5 Polyurethane Motor Engine Mounts | eBay

I'm hesitant because I don't know if they'll still be too stiff for my gauges to work.

well they are kinda silly. motor mounts don't work well (for NVH) when they connect to the chassis with a through bolt.

It's got a stud coming out either end, I figured that they would not be connected, but if it is just one stud through it then I agree it might as well be a solid mount. Guess I'll have to ask the seller.

Maybe not bad then...If its not a through bolt, then they don't offer protection against tearing like the AWR mounts do though. Not that its a really big concern. peeking at the mounts once every year is very little effort.
