I took it to the place that usually passes my or my families cars no matter what but for some reason they didn't like the miata.

Car doesn't have front turn signals
CEL does not turn on with car(meaning no bulb)
Sun strip on front windshield too big


I would really rather not fork over 50 bucks for some turn signals and 150 for the intakes is a bit much.

For the CEL I don't know what to do about that. I have no egr or cat(fake cat) so the cel will be on regardless.

Sun strip is whatever. I'm thinking if I get the other two resolved they won't car about the third.

 

I don't know about the EGR, you can use a o2 sim to fake the cat being there.

As for the turn signals, I think you should have them. Soo no help from me there.

 

You could parallel the CEL to alternator warning light. It won't be a perfect simulation, but it should be close.

As for the turn signals, well, I'm with FRT on that one. Hit the boneyard, or buy the clear, shiny ones off ebay.

 

How exactly would I parallel them on the back of the cluster?

 

Find a different shop, anyone can get a car passed in your area if you try.
