DIY coolant reroute part; would this fit?
Hi,
I've been fiddling with DIY reroute parts as many have, and I was trying to source the KIA Sephia neck. But that does not seem easy or cheap over here. But I stumbled accross this gem:
https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/32868860151.html

I think it would fit, looking at the dimensions. Did I reinvent the wheel, is this commonly done, do you also think / know this would fit at the back of the head?
Cheers,
Hugo

That was also what first caught my eye, then I noticed the 2.45" measurement looks to be OD to OD, not center to center. If only more people listing items actually knew more about them or how to describe and measure them. Sad to say I've had better luck on AliExpress than eBay or Amazon, I usually know exactly what I need/want.
Not long ago I deleted my eBay account after 20+ years of mostly buying stuff. I cannot stand being bombarded with advertisements, especially after clicking on an item I am interested in purchasing. Finding the description now requires wading through tons of "Similar Items, "Other people purchased", "Items you might also be interested in"...and on and on. Also, too many purchases over the last year were problematic, all caused by sellers not knowing what they were selling, products arriving not as described/shown. Then being harassed to change my neutral or sometimes negative feedback after communications to remedy the situation failed.
Damn! Thread resurrection got me, it's always better to PM after checking to see when they last logged in.

ie I just put the front neck on the back of the head and the back neck on the front.
(on NB8A at least) there is a bolt in the back of the head next to the neck with the same pitch as the temp sensor. Remove that bolt, screw the temp sensor in there so don’t need to extend any wiring and put the now free bolt in the now front neck where the temp sensor used to be.
all you need then is some heater hose to reach the front cos the outlet is now there, connect your now rear neck to the radiator using hardline or the Escalade hose and you’re done..
