I just got in the car this morning and decided to feel a little boost on my way to the gym. After doing a small pull after about 5-10 of driving I noticed it slipped a little in 2nd and a little in 3rd. A few minutes later it seemed to hold it better, but I was pulling into the gym parking lot at this time. I’ve only had this clutch in for a few weeks. Performed the required 2 week daily drive and normal slippage to get moving.

my car is a ‘90 1.6L making around 11.5 psi. If this is normal I have no issue with it. Just want to be sure.

IMHO not normal.
Clutch will get full clamping capacity after a good break in, but 5-10 times driving in city/traffic it should hold 11psi from a suitable turbo (not GTX45) no problem at all.
I would even say it would hold that after the first ride.

You absolutely sure there is no air in the system and your master und slaves are 100%?

I replaced the master and the slave a few months ago. I’ve even bled it again. I did adjust my clutch pedal yesterday, but I’m not sure how that would affect clamping force.

I talked with supermiata yesterday and that’s what they recommended I try first. They also said it shouldn’t need to warm up either. I drove it again and it did the same thing, but seemed to hold after the first few pulls. I’m going to bleed the clutch again when I raise the car one day this week. Help me understand how that would affect clamping force?

Clutch pedal adjustment doesn't affect clamping force unless it's preloaded (partially disengaged) like we talked about on the phone yesterday. Was there any preload on the clutch plunger?

*any* chance there's *any* leaks that could be contaminating the clutch disc?

Important to note that you're on a 1.6 organic clutch, so there's a good chance you're right at the limit of its stated torque capacity. How much torque is your car making? a 1.6 with a TD04 at 11 psi should be close to 200 wtq if tuned properly, no? The clutch is rated at 220 crank torque, I expect you're not too far away from that, but that doesn't explain it slipping at first and *then* grabbing. Are you certain that's what's happening?

there was no preload on the clutch plunger. Actually too much free play as discovered during adjustments. I’ve never had it on the dyno so I’m not sure about the rwtq. I even lowered the boost a little to around 9 psi with the same results.

once again after the adjustment I took it out and it did slip a few times in the beginning then I’d lift and shift. A few minutes later I’d do a pull and it would hold, so yes I’m sure that’s what’s happening. When I’m making these pulls I’m not flooring it, I’m rolling in throttle.

no leaks that I know of. Not seeing anything on the garage floor either.

Yeah if it had too much free play then that'll make your pedal feel better and disengage the clutch better but it wouldn't affect clamp load/power holding capacity.
