yeah i gues that will keep the best of those damn rocks that kick up and annoying bugs. although i've met some honda guys that run no filters and their turbos sit right in front of the motor, right behind the front grill/ intercooler. so yeah that's cool

I simply used a worm clamp to hold the greddy foam filter on.

That's what i would do, or you could go with a big fat tube sock those look awesome in engine bays.

If you rock a tube sock make sure it has a couple yellow and green stripes.

i'll get a pic up tomorrow. nothing crazy about the new setup, ran into a few snags to get everything to fit right. put on my rx7 afm right off the front of the turbo like many others but the charge pipe was in the way so i had to lower it so i clocked the turbo as much as i could without the compressor outlet hitting the oil drain, it's like 45 degrees down, then used some silocon elbows and cut one pipe, it will just take time to get it to fit just right and then i'll need a short air filter.

side note, with the rx7 afm and no filter boost is no longer holding a rock steady 10psi, on hills it will spike to about 13psi, so looks like i'll have to do a helper spring this week too
