Default dsm radiator in a miata

hey playing around with the miata. I got to measureing the radiator found that the early 1g metal radiators will fit in with very little effort. i had to drill to holes up top to mount it up. the top hose will work after i cut it down bottom one is going to take a few trips to the parts store to work out but will be doing a colant reroute anyhow so that can wait.
the dsm do a great job cooling and the fans can be run inline together and also work pretty well. question is this worth doing or is the stock radiator good enough?

the core is larger and has steel ends dsmers use them on high h/p builds with no cooling issues.
fans are great the mk3 supra guys ditch theres for the 1g fans. i have a few radiators laying around figured what the hell see if it would fit one thing led to another now it's bolted in place and should allow me to go over the top for my intercooler pipes.
i'm in no hurry car hasn't ran since 02 and won't be on the road anytime soon.
kinda just a what if thing i know they are good cores and figured be a cheap upgrade over the oem core
