Dual Port Wastegate
Why get a dual port wastegate vs the single port?
What advantage does it have? Is it only for very high boost? Does it help w/ creep/overboost? |
Faster spool, less overshoot, more pussy in your bed. Basically, you want a dual port EWG.

Did all Tials come w/ a dual port? I notice a port on the side. However, the top has a hole, but I don't notice threads. Is this the other port?

Typically you connect the vacuum line from the wga to the boost controller. With a dual port, do you connect both lines to the same boost controller? with like a tee or something? |
You would tee a single feed line, and then put the MBC inline with the top port. The bottom port gets fed full pressure. The top port sees an additional 6psi from the MBC, suddenly your boost pressure is WG spring + 6psi, etc.
Or you get an EBC and hook it up as directed, and the EBC alternates between top and bottom like a good hooker. |
That is badass. Thanx for the clarification.
