Ok, you guys know I wouldn't ask this without searching. As we all know, the dipstick shows two oil levels. One side reads high, while the other reads about half. Which one do I take as the reading? I forgot

 

Weird. Mine never reads that big of a difference. Usually it would be half between the min/max and on min. I just fill a little bit so the lowest side reads in the middle. Also the journeymans always told me to read the low side. I'm not really sure if its just to cover their asses though :P
