So I have a Qmax coolant reroute and I’m currently installing a flyinmiata kit, and can not get the Egr to fit. I’ve been at it all day with no luck and the nut is basically rounded at this point of trying to get it in at a funky angle.

do I have any other options? I’ve done egr deletes on other cars in the past but is it really a viable option? I’m in FL so there are no emissions to be worried about

 

Sure is; especially if you do not need to comply with emissions testing

Not really. You can also pull the actuator and blank the hole as well if you have an aftermarket ECU.

 

Do it without a second thought.

 

I yanked mine the second I found out it would clear up some space and the fact that I'm on an MS3 means no CEL.
