Looking to buy an EGT gauge, what operating temps do you guys see, looking at one model by autometer but it only goes up to 1600F is this enough or do I need a 2000F gauge.

The car will be turbo'ed eventually, if it matters.

IMO 1600F is not enough when optimum **** at full boost can be around 1600.

 

I amgoing to be getting the one from prosportgauges.com. I have some gages from this place and have been very impressed with the quality.
