i accidentally started my car with out the IAT sensor and i think a vacuum hose undone. The car would start and die and then start and run fine until I realized what I did.

But the engine light remained on after i plugged the two back in. Should i be concerned and go get in read or should I be okay?

I realize this is a noob question sorry im about as far from a mechanic and you can get.
