Have people proofread your shit. You'll read right over the stupidest errors. I'll proofread it if you want. Also reading it aloud helps too. Read slowly and enthusiastically. Helps to catch things that are wordy or don't make sense.

If this is a college class and not a high school class then you can write about whatever you want. At least at VT I could. As long as you present the material properly and its a well thought out paper, then you completed your assignment.

Now if this is a high school paper. Just use wikipedia as a source, write 1 page of factual content, and then go back through and add 5 pages of filler. Easy B.

As a manufacturing engineer major, English composition I, II, technical report writing and advanced technical report writing are required. As well as speech 111 and 321. 111 is a basic speech class, while 321 is for small team and group communication. Not sure how you graduated as an engineer without writing skillz.

Lack of communication (verbal and nonverbal) skills among engineers is a huge issue in most companies.
