This kind of intrigues me. Partially because I have access to lots of batteries and components.

Sucks that a converted car is heavier than stock.

I did drive a all electric Fiero that the Penn State Future Truck/Challenge X team built. Pretty damn fun around town thanks to the monster torque.

 

Not gonna lie. I thought about it when I saw this video That car ran pikes peak. Then reality sets in. It has like a 15minute run time. That means trailering it anywhere, getting a couple runs, and being done..

 

There is a guy on miata.net with an electric one and he was trying to figure out a way to add another motor in the front so that he can have a 500hp awd miata rather than just a 250 hp rwd miata.
