I have a few different flexible epoxies to choose from depending on the exact material. I have a rip I'll be repairing with a strip of cloth and the epoxy that works best with the soft top material.

I see vinyl or cloth options, but my tan top has a leathery look to the outside. I'm repairing the inside material around the glass.

It is either textured vinyl or marine canvas. I am not aware of any other materials used for automotive tops.

 

So the outside "shell" is the textured vinyl, and the inner coverings of the top framework is marine canvas? Thank you
