Just want to make sure that a 99-00 exhaust cam can be used as an exhintake swap on a 99-00 head that's being used on a 97's CAS/wiring harness?

Will the 99 exhintake cam/head work with the 97's CAS?

 

I took an in dept look at a 99-00 engine head and answered my own questions. I will have to cut the back part of the cam, the part for the slot to fit the CAS on the exhaust cam so it will fit into the intake side of the engine head.

 

Im struggling to understand what you are saying with the second post. The 99-05 already has a slot in the exhaust side cam that the CAS can slide into. When you do an exhintake cam, you cut off the end another exhaust cam and put it on the intake side. You don't need the CAS provision there.
