F**K. top cut.
there's NOTHING in the car to take. The radio was already stolen a month ago. I almost purposely didn't buy another head unit.
Yet they cut the top last nite.
they sat in the driver side, adjusted the seats, looked at the empty radio slot, got out of the car, and re-locked both doors.
i think it's time to move. or maybe it's time for the girlfriend to listen to me. always told her NOT to lock the doors. it's like: get your shitty $40 radio stolen, or get the top cut. which costs more money?
East Los Angeles is still the hood. don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

You should electrify the car, sure you have to clean up the **** and **** from when they lose control of their bowels and bladder but it's worth it to have someone to beat on to take out your frustrations on.
I have video cameras installed around my house and the software can notify me when it gets a hit on the motion sensor. They're sensitive enough to have light trigger the recording so I don't have that option enabled.
that does suck man, I'm sorry. I've had a driveshaft stolen last week, a manual boost controller stolen a couple months back, and an enthuza muffler-back stolen before that.
I also leave nothing worth stealing in the car. My radio is starting to get old and tired looking, and while I want to replace it, mine is ugly enough to be theft resistant.

man. it's monday... and i'm still kinda miffed. ben, i saw your stolen driveshaft post. pretty fuggin amazing.
a coupla years back, my s2k OEM catback was stolen out of our carport. it was mostly my fault since it was out of the car for 2 wks. guess 50 lbs of scrap metal is worth something to someone..
that said, i'm looking at how to patch this bitch up. vinyl + gorilla glue should do the trick yah?

I've been told that you can get tent repair tape for vinyl that works pretty well. Supposedly really strong and sticks well even in the heat. I haven't used it myself though.
Gorilla glue dries really hard, i don't think it would work well in a flexible situation. Pretty sure it would crack quickly, though I could be wrong.

If I was going to look I would go to a sporting good store that sold tents. I would personally repair it using a sealant that sticks to vinyl, a patch, and heavy duty thread. Some shops do repairs like this as well. Check out this thread, it has some good advice in it.
