Keeping the car unlocked rarely works. Most asshole thieves cut tops first and never even try the doors. My buddy had his top cut twice (stock radio) with the doors unlocked.

cjernigan: dude, these are real legit shops. signage, office hours and even a telephone number. plus, a day laborer stole my fiance's engagement ring this summer. i think i have the right for bits of cheap labor for the REST OF MY GDAMN LIFE...

I was serious about supporting them, if it saves you money who gives a shit. I'd rather pay a mexican $20 to do a job a white man would charge a $100 for.

Right before I sold my NA 4 years ago somebody broke into it in the park 'n drive parking lot where I was parked. They stole the cheapy head unit I had and a crappy amp in the trunk. The car was locked and they didn't cut the top. They punched the pax lock with a screwdriver. Of course it slipped and put a big ass gouge along the door so I had to get the hole dam thing painted as opposed to just fixing the lock.

I guess it was easier than cutting the top, but still cost me big bucks. Doesn't anyone smash (windows) and run anymore?
