Hello to whomever reads this my Miata has a knocking engine and I'm considering just cutting my loss.
​​​​​ Wanting opinions on what you believe is a fair price to sell the entire car as it stands for.

Knocking engine? Around here (upstate NY) a clean body like that and the *possible* good parts it still has would probably be a hard sell at 4500 and move really quick for 3000. Just my opinion. I would 100% be the guy to show up with 2500 and point out everything wrong with it

 

I would say it really depends on where you're located. To the right person I could see you easily getting $5,000 as is. If you had the parts to put it back to stock, you'd do better to sell off the aftermarket parts and the car separately but probably only a thousand or two better off. That's my 2-cents. Good luck!
