There shouldn't be any sense they stopped producing new Fire suppression systems somewhere in the late 80's early 90's and started using FM-200 and other alternatives.

I know chlorine gas is corrosive, but unless I'm mistaken, CO2 is safe. If I'm wrong about that though, better not open any sodas or exhale in your car.

 

the job of the suppression system is to put the fire out, aka save you from injury or death. if there's a fire, who gives a rat's a about what happens to some plastic trim.

 

I'm guessing they are worried about accidental deploy but yeah i totally agree..

I’ve used FM-200 for about 5 systems they were all seal systems which requires much less per cubic feet (think Data Center application). I'm not certain how it works on something like an engine bay. It is non-toxic non-corrosive.

· You may order as many systems as you want, however the shipping cost is still $20 per system

· Initial charge and re-charge kits: The system comes with one (1) charge and refill kits are available at a discount. Recharge kits include both the AFFF Foam and the C02 charge. No shipping fees for refill kits if you are ordering a system. See prices below

· Braided lines: Braided lines are not being offered, I am sorry.

· Additional nozzles: Additional nozzle kits are available at a discount. Both system can easily accommodate an additional nozzle. No shipping fees for nozzle kits if you are ordering a system. See prices below

· Sanctioning body legality: AFFF Foam Suppression is recognized by all sanctioning bodies



Prices. These prices are valid if we have 20 or more orders. Over 35 people have expressed interest so I don’t think the prices below will change. I will inform everyone if there are any changes. The price breakdown for systems and re-charge kits and nozzle kits are as follows:

· 4.6L (10lbs) 3 Nozzle System: $195 plus $20 Shipping = $195 Total
