Default Full drivetrain swap NB to Na

I recently bought a 2000 from a friend of mine with extream body damage. No furry like a woman scored, especially if she has access to a pickaxe. I have a 91 that the engine needs a lot of TLC. My thoughts were take the entire drivetrain from the NB and put it in the na. engine, ECU, trans, diff. I know a lot of people swap the rack and pinion from the NB into the new cars but is there anything else that I should swap while I'm at it? Has anyone on here done this before if so any tips or suggestions?
I've heard the front subframe will swap over pretty straight forward will the rear sub fit if so will I need to swap anything else or would it be easier/better to only swap the diff?

The plan with the car is to have a daily that I can have a little fun with. No track days or anything.

Maybe the engine loom, cam sensor is different, probably cluster too. You will want the brakes as well, so just plan on swapping the complete subframes.

You will need to look at what the later ECU will be looking for, as if it doesn't find it it will probably throw a CEL. Also check plug compatibility, the NB may not be pnp.

Good luck!

Very doable. Many of us have done this and with a turbo. I would run a MS3pro PNP for an ecu.
