Default Gauge size quesiton (2" vs 2 1/16")

I cannot believe I need to ask this question, but I've been googling and searching for over an hour and i'm not 100% sure on the answer..

True or false, a 2 1/16" (also known as 52mm) gauge is the same as a 2" gauge?

I want to pick up this gauge pod from summit racing, but it says it's for 2" gauges, and all the ones I'm looking at are listed as 2 1/16".

I know that it wouldn't be hard to shave 1/32" all the way around, but are they the same?

The FM A-Pillar gauge pod description says "Fits 2 1/16" also known as 2" gauges" but that's as close as I can find to an answer..

You're good. It's common for brands to say 2" when referring to the standard 2 1/16 / 52mm gauge size.

Thanks so much, you rock. That's what I thought, just wanted to double check.
