Getting Kosei K1s
I'm picking up a used set of Kosei K1s today for my Mariner Blue Miata. Only debate is whether I want to leave them white or paint them. I'm leaning toward black but bronze is a possibility along with gunmetal in that order.

I'm anti anything+white but sometimes my laziness prevails.
I always liked the guys who'd get white bumpers and ground effects and when you asked them when they were going to paint them they'd look confused because they thought their car looked good.

tho- ISC builds very quick Miatas - don't care about looking good for club racing I suppose

The nice thing about the gunmetal is it will go with anything and provides a contrast from the tire to the wheel, so you can see the wheel. I had some OE 1.8 alloys way back and painted the black, but painted a yellow strip around the lip to go with the car's paint scheme. Exactly how I spec'd the paint job for the traqmate SM below.
I have a mariner and think I will stick to silver. Nickel UL's are my other choice but the enkei rp-f1's are nice too.
Black with a polished lip would be ok but solid isnt my thing.

what about red with white kazera kz-m's? i've seen this before and the offset was so perfect for a dropped miata. otherwise, i'm thinking of painting them black because it makes it look like a track beater... it's awesome. i would love to paint them bronze but bronze isn't a rattle-can-friendly color.
or is it? anyone have pics?

The Duplicolor wheel paint works well from what I have read, it comes in Bronze. I know because I am having trouble finding any other color locally.
I'm a little pissed at myself because I brought only $100s with me so I had no way to negotiate when I saw the **** poor condition of the "50% tread left" tires (one had 50%, rest were bald). Oh well, still got an ok deal even without the tires.
