Default ghost fuel on 1.8 miata

hey guys, have just been out working on my mx5, car has been off for a few months now, as in no battery plugged in etc. and all of a sudden im getting fuel being pumped thru the lines at a steady rate, has anyone else had similar experiences? have removed the fuse, the alternator is currently not plugged in, and there is still fuel coming out the feed line ? please help lol

Pressure difference. Or lines are now lower than tank. Did you jack up the back of the car?

If the front is higher, unscrew your gas cap to relieve pressure

that is really weird, i have had it off a few days ago, but put it back on, and now when i took it off, there was pressure there, but now has stopped the fuel from flowing, thanks mate!

Temp changes mean pressure changes.
