Has anyone ran 225/45/16s on a NA before?

I'm looking into new tires and have been thinking of going wider. I run 205/45/16s lowered with no problems but I'm concered that if I go bigger I'll rub and have to raise it. I'd hate that.

Yea, that is what I just purchased (Hankooks). You will need to beat in your fender liners a bit and some of the tabs, but that should be it.

I just had probs with the fronts. I haven't altered anything in the rear.

Same here. I am running 225/45-16 Hankooks on my lowered '97.

I had some rubbing problems in the front, had to raise the car a little and roll the fenders.
