So, anybody know where I can find decent aftermarket headlight assemblies for a '99? I had always assumed 99-04 were the same size, but it seems like the inner corners wont quite match up... I was hoping to find something more along the lines of the mazdaspeed look, after finding nothing for my car at all.

Any suggestions or helpful directions to some decent headlights? Mine are old, and I'd like to get some HIDs in there to illuminate my night driving.

 

They changed the headlight design in.... 2001? (I think.)

The early NBs used reflector-style headlights, the later ones use projectors. The shape is indeed a tad different, but a few folks here have successfully transplanted the later headlights into early NBs.

 

Would a front bumper change do the trick? Is the hood the same shape?

Yes 01 front bumper is ideal when doing 01+ lights. yes that's all thats required besides rewiring

 

im not worried about the rewiring part.

Buy bumper.
The rest will take about 20 minutes and is super easy
