Default Help me, I'm indecisive. $900 to blow.

So I will be selling my wheels and tires for $900 Thursday.

I am in the process of building a turbo 91. It is already 1.8 swapped, I have a turbo, 1.8 diff, intercooler, BOV, and external wastegate sitting at the house.....

With said money I am torn between:

More wheels and tires (I have stockers to roll the car around on).

A 220 tig machine that is AC/DC.

Pay off some small bills that will be paid up in three months anyways.

So I need some MT Logic.... Gives meh.

Also, how many street miles are y'all getting out of your 200 tread ware 225/45 tires?

I concur with bills first. As to the tire question, I currently have 15k miles and 6 track days on my rivals and they still haven't hit the wear bars.

Can I propose another question....

Those of you with a Tig machine: Do you make extra money off of it by doing side work? I'll be going to school in October and am wondering if it would be a worthy investment before hand.

I don't have a TIG, nor can i weld, but if i did and could, i'd make bank with side projects.

I weld for a living. Although it is MIG and stick, a friend of mine has shown me how to TIG and let me use his machine. It isn't that hard. I've only practiced about five minutes, but steel and stainless is a cake walk, aluminum on the other hand, I need to practice.

Pay some bills, and then use the rest for safety items like a roll bar, or suspension items if you don't have them Sways? Possibly motor mounts or replace worn bushings.

Assuming we arent still on the bills proposal, a better tranny? In my limited experience that would be your weak point with a 1.8 engine and rear diff.

I gotta second TheScaryOne here. Hire a nice, reputable prostitute for one evening and have her clip your toenails while you are submerged up to your nose in a bathtub filled with warm Pepto-Bismol and surrounded by garden gnomes, in a room bathed in blacklight while Ozric Tentacles blasts out of the stereo in the background.
