+1 for bellfab! Low price and i have always herd good things from them!
Just curious, what would be the down-fall if you just wanted to do the pistons and rings W/O the rods???
Is it really WAY more worth it to do both, MUST both be done at the same time or ELSE???

The rods are the weak point. It is absolutely useless to tear the entire motor apart, only to leave stock rods. The first thing guys change when building these motors is the rods. There are several guys running aftermarket rods and stock pistons.
I have wisecos on the way (.020 over) that put me at 1648 CC's or so. I was going to get ETD rods but they are out of stock so then I was gonna get belfab rods which are so awesomely priced but yet again, they were out of stock till the 29th I believe. My car is in pieces and needs to be put back together ASAP so I went ahead and got some GTX rods coming. They should hold up to what I throw at the car initially (225-250hp). I'll have pics soon.
