Default HKS 38mm Wastegate spring replacement?

I just picked up a 38mm external HKS wastegate lastnight and it has a 1bar spring which is too much for what im going to use it for. Will any 38mm spring work for these?

no, take it apart and you'll understand. You can get them on ebay though.
