i Got the idea from cspences build thread, like it so i went to the JY and found myself a set the z34 hood vents.

My understanding was that putting a vent back there actually decreases the cooling efficiency of the cooling system. The vent should be put immediately behind the radiator so that air comes in through the front nose, through the rad, and then out. And no, there will be no drop in thermostat as our motors aren't exactly air cooled.

Ok so you've made the ambient temperature above the turbo cooler. What about the warmer coolant and oil now going through the turbo? That's what is actually cooling it. Ambient temperature isn't doing crap.

my air filter is right near the turbo, and it would pull the hot air from the turbo. oil cooler is on the buy list. and its just oil cooled turbo.

Your turbo will super heat the air coming in, and that's why you install an intercooler. I would say cooling the air at the filter is unnecessary.

It will help you to get the hot air out of there when you are stop. And it looks like a nice work done!
