How bad did I screw up? (flywheel alignment)
Swapping out the clutch, and I removed the flywheel to resurface it. I forgot to mark alignment, so I have no idea what orientation it was in, and therefore no way to know how to put it back. Just how critical is this, and is there a way to tell which way it needs to go back?
Haynes manual seems to indicate this is necessary, but if I was to swap in a new flywheel, it wouldn't necessarily need to go back the same way, would it? Am I fooked? |
Don't worry about it.

Thanks. Clutch is installed.
BTW, brake cleaner strips the paint off an FM happy meal. |
Unless you balance the pressure plate with the flywheel, it makes no difference. Bigger props if you balance it from main pulley to PP, along with rods/Pistons.
