Default How bad did I screw up? (flywheel alignment)

Swapping out the clutch, and I removed the flywheel to resurface it. I forgot to mark alignment, so I have no idea what orientation it was in, and therefore no way to know how to put it back. Just how critical is this, and is there a way to tell which way it needs to go back?

Haynes manual seems to indicate this is necessary, but if I was to swap in a new flywheel, it wouldn't necessarily need to go back the same way, would it?

Am I fooked?

Don't worry about it.

Thanks. Clutch is installed.

BTW, brake cleaner strips the paint off an FM happy meal.

Unless you balance the pressure plate with the flywheel, it makes no difference. Bigger props if you balance it from main pulley to PP, along with rods/Pistons.
