Unhappy How do I route wires through dash to a pillar?

Setting up AEM wideband right now. I have the replacement a pillar that the gauges go in but I need to route the wires from the footwell area to the a pillar. I can't see any way to route the wires up to the a pillar, there's just no passage. I even stuck a borescope down the base of the pillar and couldn't find a way through. How did you guys do it? Is there something I'm missing here?

Assuming you have a 1992 Miata (as you haven't specified otherwise), there's no pleasant way to do this. You just need to straighten out a coat hanger, remove the plastic trim from the A-pillar, and start probing downwards with the coat hanger until you make it through.

Disconnect the battery negative terminal first, if you're a wimp.

I have a '91. I just got it to work with enough trial and error. Thanks very much
